The professional level training in veterinary homeopathy offered by Animal Natural Health Center has graduated 435 veterinarians as of 2005. Of this group some are willing to take on new cases or to consult with you on the treatment of your animal. This is a listing of those recommended practitioners.

If possible, choose a veterinarian that you can see in person. If this cannot be done, some of those listed will attempt to advise you by phone. Those willing to do so often require an initial examination and evaluation in person. It is possible to work from the information obtained by your local veterinarian and the results of that exam and any tests can be made available to the consulting veterinarian you are using from this list.

As this is a changing situation the availability of the veterinarian may have changed. You may not be able to get service for a variety of reasons: their practice may be not accepting more clients, the case is too difficult, they do not want to advise without seeing the animal, the phone number may have changed, etc. If you gather new information of this type, please and help us keep this list updated. Put “referral corrections” in the subject line to let us know what it is about.

Unfortunately due to our busy schedule WE CANNOT GIVE ADVICE for specific animal treatment at this e-mail address. Please refer to Dr. Pitcairn's book for advice. The style of practice you can expect with these practitioners is what is called Classical Homeopathy which is the method first established by the founder, Samuel Hahnemann, MD 200 years ago. You can expect a careful determination of your animal's condition both at the present time and also in the past. From this information a prescription is selected, and one remedy used at a time. Because there can be uncertainty about how homeopathic practice is to be done, consult our Standard of Practice for further information.

The listing that follows is alphabetical by US state or Canadian province as shown in the fourth column (ALB=Alberta, BC=British Columia, ONT=Ontario, NB= New Brunswick, SK=Saskatchewan). The phone number given is for their office or clinic. the column labled "Training" shows the year that they finished the course in veterinary homeopathy. The last column "Advanced" notes if they have attended advanced training with Dr. Pitcairn. (ANHC offers an additional 78 hour course at the advanced level as well as yearly case seminars for continuing eductaion.) If there is a "yes" for that person's entry, then they have attended some of these classes.
